Easter 2013

What a grand and glorious weekend.  All the kids came in with their kids- yes that means 6 grand kids and a total of 15 people.  Very fun weekend- just watching the kids play.  Nothing like cousins playing with each other.  My girls planned great activities for the kids.

Making Tomb rolls.  A wonderful story of Jesus and the empty tomb made with baby peeps and crescent rolls.

Ass you can see we had a jam packed weekend.   Such precious gifts from our Lord and Savior!  Kirk and I could not be prouder of our children and grand children.  We say special prayers for all of them.  Praise to God for his most blessed gift of Jesus Christ.

Hudson's Birthday Blowout!

Hudson turned two and had a wonderful birthday with many friends and family.  Four generations of his family was there to love on the little guy.  There were trains, water toys, cake, hot dogs, hamburgers, and backyard fun.  It was a great party for a two year old.  All of his cousins were there to help him celebrate. The highlight was Travis's dad (G Dad)  doing small poppers and fire works with the kids! They loved it!

Here is the party in all it's glory....

Spring Break 2013

Oh what a week!  Okay here we go...Up I 35 to Dallas to look for a house.  Down I 35 to San Antonio to spend two glorious days with Brooke, Caleb, Hudson, and Travis.  Back up I 35 to Waco to get the Smith kids while Jeremy and Luci went to New York.  Back home to Austin with the kids to pack and play ( we even squeezed a trip to the San Antonio Zoo).  Then back up I 35 to deliver the kids to Dallas and look again for houses.  We had a busy week! I wouldn't change a thing!  Here are some picks to share.

Dallas Bound

Seems like we are up and down I35 most weeks.  We are still in the process of finding a house.  Kirk moves up April 1st to begin work so hopefully he will continue looking at night.  My mom and dad have graciously agreed to take all four animals ( two dogs and two birds ) for a short time when we are updating floors and paint in our house in Austin.  Our goal is to be on market by May 1st.  Hopefully we will sell fast and have a  June closing.  I want to send a huge shout out to my mom and dad who spent three days with Kirk doing handy man stuff around the house and packing.  They are amazing and I am so blessed to have them and their support.  I went up to Dallas for a principal interview last week and they have invited me again this week.  So again up I35 we go!   Here are some pics from the last few weeks.  More blogs to come....

Always fun to play with baby Wyatt.
Abbey and Justin usually come over once a week.  So much fun!

School and Family Time

Lots of family time lately.  What would I do without them all?  I am in a hotel room in Arlington tonight all by myself.  I should be enjoying the peace and quiet- but gosh do I miss them all.  Not that I am complaining, room service and HBO movies are not an awful way to spend a Friday night.   It is just not something I would want all the time.  So I will blog about them.  I am here for the Texas Middle School Conference.  We won a very prestigious award and are here to accept it.  Here are the pics from our award- we are a state and national Middle School to Watch!  Love my Principal!  Love my School!  Love my Family!
