Thanksgiving 2012

We had Thanksgiving in Austin this year as Abbey had the baby the Monday before Thanksgiving.  It was rather quiet this year - we only had 11 people.  My parents came in as well as Justin's family.  We have lots to be thankful for- health, jobs, family and so far two precious blessings to our family this year- Riley and Wyatt.  Brooke is due in December

Kirk and I hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful and beautiful.  We took some time to give thanks for the many blessings of this year.  For those that could not be with us- know you were missed.  We hope to have the whole family together next year.  All are welcome!

Love this quote:

It does not matter what your circumstances are; the instant you begin to thank God, even though your situation has not changed, you begin to change. The key that unlocks the gates of heaven is a thankful heart. Entrance into the courts of God comes as you simply begin to praise the Lord.”
Francis Frangipane

Love these pictures and this family:

Hudson loves the baby toys!  Notice the boots- he is obsessed about them.

“Not what we say about our blessings, but how we use them, is the true measure of our thanksgiving.”

Baby Wyatt is here!

Wyatt Darin Pelosi arrived Monday November 19, 2012 at 5:23 PM.  He weighed 7lbs and 10 oz. and was 19.5 inches long.  His momma and daddy are tired but doing well.  They are staying here for a while in our guest room as I usually stay with the girls a week when a baby is born.  Here is his birthday in living pictures:

Home Sweet Home

A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bank balance smaller, home happier, clothes dirty, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for.

Brooke Marie's Birthday

We were so excited to spend Brooke's birthday with her.  After two long years she is finally close to home
and we can see her for events like this.  We went to the Gristmill in New Braunfels and had a lovely meal.  Brooke got some updated baby items that she was excited about. Here are pics for the fun night.  Happy 25th Birthday Brooke! So happy you are home!

Con Man

So he is now a senior.  I usually am pretty tired of my Seniors by now and ready for them to go to college- but not with Connor.  I treasure the moments we get to spend together.  They are limited as he is very, very busy- what with band, school, church, boy scouts, and girlfriend. He does make time to go to the movies with us and come home most nights in time for dinner.  He is a great kid.  He recently earned his Life award in scouts and is on his way to Eagle.  Last weekend was Senior recognition night for Westwood Band.  He is so busy with band trips to Chicago and Washington DC this Spring.  I am just not going to think about graduation yet- I am just not ready.  I am so honored and blessed to be his mom and I thank God for the special gift of Connor.

Loving on his nephew at the WW game

Senior Night- if you look real closely the drum sticks are pink- the pink out game- in honor of my Cousin Cheryl who leads a valiant fight against breast cancer daily!

Doing what he does best!

Life Award- his momma and daddy are so very proud!
